British Food Culture
At the moment obesity among children is a much debated issue in England. It has been argued that if a child is obese is it the fault of the parents and in a sense child abuse and forcible removal from the home is therefore necessary in extreme cases.
The famous chef Jamie Oliver has also criticized the schools for serving unhealthy food to school children (http://www.jamieoliver.com/schooldinners/ ) and in 2005 a School Food Trust was established in order to improve the quality of food in schools (http://www.schoolfoodtrust.org.uk/).

In your essay describe the food culture in England and how this culture affects the number of obese children and what can be done in order to change this vicious circle. Discuss whether or not an obese child is subjected to child abuse and whether or not you find it a necessary step to remove these children from their parents.
